CinemaCon 2024

The future of this industry is limitless. CinemaCon 2024 displayed yet again how innovative and dynamic our industry is.

The Future of this Industry is Limitless

The movie business thrives when people from all parts of the industry form alliances and work together. Every year, CinemaCon marks a time when new collaborations are formed and long-time partners connect.

Working Together

CinemaCon is about building community. Whether it is through NATO committee meetings, panels & seminars focused on specific topics, or large parties with great networking opportunities, no event brings all sections of the industry together in the same way.

Building Community

Movie theatre owners are the backbone of this industry. A theatrical release creates community. It is how movies are meant to be seen. CinemaCon 2024 was a celebration of the people who are exhibition. Check out Behind the Screens: The Faces of Exhibition, a video series that debuted at CinemaCon.

Backbone of the Industry

At CinemaCon 2024, NATO paid tribute to members who have been in operation for 50 years (56 members), 75 years (89 members), and 100 years (56 members) with special pins (pictured below). At NATO, CinemaCon, and The Cinema Foundation, promoting and supporting our members is the foundation of everything we do. It is why we exist.

Member Anniversaries

The Independent Theatre Owners Coalition (ITOC) held its annual in-person meeting at Caesars Palace this year. Led by chair Colleen Barstow (pictured below), vice chair Emelyn Stuart, and board members Joe Masher, Randy Hester, and Paul Gunsky, ITOC is working hard on behalf on indie theatres across the country.
